Bill was born in London, spent his 30’s in South Africa before moving to Sussex then to Dorset where he has lived for over 30 years. He finds Dorset very inspirational and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

Bills work is inspired by the landscape, sea, sky and light, using imaginative colours and shapes with an eclectic mix of mediums.

He has had exhibitions in Arundel and Worthing plus numerous exhibitions around Dorset including Lighthouse Theatre, Poole and Lyme Regis. He has sold his paintings to collectors from Africa and Europe.

Bill is also a well known and popular Caricaturist and published Cartoonist. He has worked on a number of book illustrations and his cartoons were shown as part of The Hogarth Bicentennial Exhibition at South Bank, London plus The Ayr Cartoon Festival in Scotland. His topical political works have been published in The Cartoonist, Punch Magazine, The Purbeck Magazine and Toyota Magazine for the Round The World Yacht Race.

Bill has a Studio in his garden which you are welcome to visit on request.
